Mr Chua Kheng Wee Louis asked the Minister for Trade and Industry (a) whether the Government is actively pursuing Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to locate a 12-inch wafer fabrication plant in Singapore instead of Europe through the use of incentives; (b) if so, when will the outcome be finalised; (c) what is the expected total value of the incentives and subsidies to TSMC; and (d) what is the expected impact to GDP, employment and tax revenues.
