Mr Pritam Singh asked the Prime Minister how often does the Government require Ministries and Statutory Boards to review the security and access controls of the most privileged (i) Operating System and (ii) Database accounts under their control.
Mrs Josephine Teo (for the Prime Minister): There are standards in place across the whole of Government to regularly review security and access controls of all IT accounts, including privileged accounts. The frequency of review of privileged accounts is tied to the criticality as well as sensitivity of the systems these accounts have access to. It ranges from one to three months.
